Our family was looking for a spacious 3 bed apartment. When we visited the sample apartment at the Riverdale office, we were very happy with the spacious interiors in the living and dining section. But what really got us excited were the number of balconies available at the forefront of the living area and the other balconies for the master and guest bedrooms. Last but most importantly what swung our decision was the kitchen. With the dry balcony, the ventilation, the space for our double door refrigerator and the quartz lining on top of the kitchen platform, we were sure that this is what we wanted.

We first moved to Pune when we were doing our degree programs. Since then and gradually moving on from our first jobs, we have been living in a one bed apartment that sufficed our needs. As our family grew, we began looking for a 2 bed apartment that would be useful for our growing family. When we saw the smallest option with 2 separate bedrooms, we knew that this would be something that we could also afford and most importantly be happy with. We are happy having booked our home here and are counting time until we eventually move in.

I bought into Riverdale Residences when it was launched several years back in 2018. Having taken possession last year in 2022, I can share with you that the one reason for buying my riverfront facing limited edition home was this being an exclusive gated community and being able to enjoy the open cinematic views especially during the night-time on a bright moon-lit sky. I first heard off Riverdale Heights when I was in Mumbai. With imminent plans of migrating to Pune on account of work at EON at Kharadi, I began looking for a ready-to-move-in place. I was introduced to Riverdale Heights and was quite intrigued with the living facilities that it had me buy in even though the possession was several years after. And which would have meant me living in rental accommodation. Having taken possession several years ago, I couldn’t be happier given the sort of community that I live in.

I was looking to make an investment and was not sure of where I needed to put my money. I definitely did not want to be sitting on liquidity having sold some other property. When I was presented with the opportunity of investing in a self-sufficient condominium that had the probability of obtaining high rental yields given the proximity to the central business district of Kharadi, I jumped at it. Being an early investor I secured by purchase at a much lower value compared to the rates at which this is being re-sold at the moment. I certainly got lucky with this investment.

I was looking to make an investment in some commercial real estate given the return on investment being higher and also being able to secure higher rentals. I was looking to negate any risk as far as my investment goes. And located right here in the heart of Kharadi which is arguably one of the fastest growing micro geographies given the quality of commercial real estate available and the range of businesses moving in from global MNCs to large Indian companies and SMEs. All of this coupled with a thriving residential population, I decided to take the plunge with an investment in a retail showroom at MELAVA AVENUE.

I wanted to diversify my assets and was looking to invest in some real estate offering other than plain vanilla residential real estate. Needless to say that given the opportunity to earn disproportionately higher rentals was something that I was looking to take advantage off. So, when I was presented with the opportunity to own office space this seemed to be a viable option given that I was also looking to own and possibly move into my own office which would also be closer to my residence. It got easier to zero in and close the deal with MELAVA HIGHSTREET.
